Carrot Pudding




INGREDIENTS:
1.  Agar Agar (china grass) 5 g (soak in 1 cup of water for ½ and hour)
2.  Carrot chopped 1 cup
3.  Milk 2 cup + 4 Tbsp
4.  Condense milk (milk maid) ¼ cup
5.  Sugar 4 Tbsp
6.  Vanilla essence 1 tsp
METHOD:
·    First boil the chopped carrot in ½ cup of water

·    Then grind the cooked carrot with 4 Tbsp of milk and keep aside

·    Then boil the soaked Agar Agar in low heat till it melts (don’t throw the soaked water it should boil along with the Agar Agar)

·    Meanwhile in a vessel add milk when the milk starts  boiling, reduce the heat and add milk maid,sugar,vanilla essence and carrot paste mix well for few seconds

·    Then add the melted Agar Agar to the milk mixture

·    Stir it continuously for 2 minutes

·    Then transfer to the serving dish and chill it for 2 hours

·    Cut and serve
NOTE:
·        Agar Agar is also know as china grass strips or gulaman bar
·        If you add more Agar Agar the pudding may be harder

  2. Very innovative dish...love the carrot shape. I guess you used carrot shaped moulds for them..am I right ?

    1. hii sadaf..thank u soo much for ur comment...the shape i used is cookie cutter..i first made the pudding in square dish..then with the cookie cutter i cut it....its acually xmas tree shape ..but the shape was best look like carrot
