Prawns Makhani

 
 
INGREDIENTS:
1. Prawns 250 gm (clean and deveined)
2. Tomato paste or tomato puree 3 Tbsp (I used tomato paste it will give nice red colour)
3. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
4. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
5.  Fresh cream 4 Tbsp (if you don’t have cream  then use in ¼ cup milk add 2 tsp milk powder dissolve and use)
6.  Lemon juice 1 Tbsp
7.  Corn flour 1tsp dissolve in little water
8.  Onion 1 chopped
9.  Garlic crushed 2 cloves
10. Sugar ½ tsp
11. Butter  4 Tbsp
12. Salt to taste
NOTE: marinate prawns with salt, red chilli powder ½ tsp and ½ cup coconut milk
 
METHOD FOR MAKHANI SAUCE:
·   In a pan add butter 2 tbsp then add tomato paste or tomato puree, salt, red chilli power 1 tsp,garam masala powder ,fresh cream, lemon juice and mix well
·   Then add corn flour mixture and stir well and switch off the gas
METHOD:
·        In a non stick vessel add butter ,chopped onion fry till soft
·        Then add garlic crushed stir well
·        Then add marinated prawns and cook for 5 minutes
·        Then add MAKHANI SAUCE and  sugar ,stir well
·        Cover and cook for 4 minutes in low heat
·        Last garnish with coriander leaves chopped
·        Enjoy with chapatti
