INGREDIENTS:
1. Chicken ½ kg (small pieces)
2. Kashmiri chilli 8 (soak in water for
2 hours and cut and remove all seeds)
3. Onion 2 chopped
4. Ginger and garlic paste 1 Tbsp
5. Tomato puree 1 cup (puree 2 large
tomato)
6. Tomato chopped 2
7. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
8. Coriander powder 1 tsp
9. Water 1 to 2 cups
10. Cashew
nut or peanut powder
11. Salt
to taste
12. Oil

METHOD:
· First
grind together deseeded kashmiri chilli and onion into smooth paste(don’t add water)
·
In
a non stick vessel add oil add Kashmiri chilli and onion paste, sauté for 5
minutes
· Then
add ginger and garlic paste sauté for few seconds
· Then
add tomato puree and tomato chopped and sauté for 6 minutes
· Then
add garam masala , coriander powder, salt and chicken
· Fry
it till oil seen on the surface this will take almost 10 minutes
· Then
add 1 to 2 cups water and cover and cook the chicken completely
·
Last
add cashew nut or peanut powder
· Serve
hot with chapatti,roti,puri
