Dal Makhani



Preparation Time: 30 Minutes and 1 day for dal to soak
Serving For: 3 persons

INGREDIENTS:

1.     Whole black urad dal 1 cup
2.     Red kidney beans 3 Tbsp
3.     Jeera 1 tsp
4.     Red chilli powder 2 tsp
5.     Onion 1 small  chopped
6.     Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
7.     Tomato puree ½ cup
8.     Garam masala powder 1 tsp
9.     Fresh cream ¼ cup
10.   Butter 3 Tbsp and 1 Tbsp for garnish
11.   Salt to taste

WHOLE BLACK URAD DAL AND RED KIDNEY BEANS (RAJMA)

METHOD:
·    Soak whole black urad dal and red kidney beans together  for over night

·    Then boil it in pressure cooker (dal should cook completely)

·    Then in a non stick kadai add butter then to that add Jeera ,onion and fry till light brown

·    Then add ginger and garlic paste fry it

·    Add red chilli powder fry for few seconds

·    Then add boiled and mashed dal mix well

·    Then add tomato puree and garam masala powder mix well and boil for 5 minutes in low heat (if u want can add little water)

·    Last add fresh cream stir well cook for another 5 minutes

·   Garnish with butter and serve with rice ,chapattis
