Creamy Cashewnut (kaju) masala




SERVING FOR: 4 person
COOKING TIME: 20minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1.  Chicken ½ kg
2.  Whole garam masala (star 1,cinnamon 1 small stick,2 cloves,2 bay leaf)
3.   Onion 1 chopped
4.   Green chillies 5 slit
5.   Tomato 1 chopped
6.   Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
7.   Turmeric powder ½ tsp
8.   Coriander powder 1 tsp
9.   Thick coconut milk 1 cup
10.  Cashew 20 (soak in warm water and grind into smooth paste)
11.  Salt to taste
12.  Ghee 2 Tbsp
13.  Oil 2 Tbsp
14.  Coriander leaves chopped for garnish
15.  Roasted cashew nuts 5 for garnish
METHOD:
·   In a deep bottom non stick vessel add oil and ghee
·   To that add whole garam masala
·   Then add chicken ,stir well
·   To that add onion, green chilli,tomato,salt,ginger and garlic paste and stir well for 3 minutes in medium heat
·   Then add turmeric powder and coriander powder, mix well for 2 minutes
·   Add ½ cup water and close the lid and cook the chicken
·   After the chicken is done add coconut milk and cashew nut paste stir well and boil for another 5 minute
·   Last garnish with coriander leaves and roasted cashew nuts
·   Serve hot with  roti,chappati
