Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving For: 4 to 5 persons
INGREDIENTS: (FOR KOFTA)
1. Paneer 1 cup (mashed with hand)
2. Potato 1 cup (boiled and mashed)
3. Salt to taste
4. Cardamom powder a pinch
5. Corn flour 2 Tbsp
6. Roasted nuts ¼ cup (cashew nut,badam,raisinschopped)
7. Oil for frying
METHOD:
· In a bowl add ingredients 1 to 5 and mix well together
· Then make small balls and in center of each balls stuff some roasted nuts, and again make small balls (can make 8 koftas)
· Then deep fry it ,fry out 1 kofta first if its break then just roll it in corn flour
· If u like the kofta to be little brown then fry it till light brown otherwise fry for about 1 minutes
· And keep aside
INGREDIENTS: (FOR CREAMY GRAVY)
1. Onion 3 (chopped)
2. Bay leaf 1
3. Cardamom 2
4. Garlic paste 1 tsp
5. Ginger paste 1 tsp
6. Green chilli paste 1to 2 tsp or green chillies slit 5 to 6
7. Butter 1 tsp
8. Sugar 1 tsp
9. Cashew nut paste ½ cup
10. Milk ½ cup (milk dissolve in 1 tsp of milk powder) or fresh cream ½ cup
11. Water ½ to 1cup
12. Cardamom powder a pinch for garnish
13. Oil 4 Tbsp
14. Salt to taste
METHOD:
· First in a vessel add chopped onion and some water and boil for 5 minute, drain water and make smooth paste
· In a non stick vessel add oil then add bay leaf and cardamom
· Then add onion paste fry well for 3 minutes
· Then add ginger ,garlic and green chilli paste fry for 4 minutes
· Add cashew nut paste and water and fry for 7 to 8 minutes in medium low heat
· Add salt, butter and sugar mix well
· Last add fresh cream or milk and cook for 3 minutes
· Place the koftas in serving dish pour this creamy gravy and garnish with cardamom powder and nuts.serve hot with naan
