INGREDIENDS: (FOR THE ONION BHAJIYA)
1. Onion 1 large sliced
2. Red chilli powder ½ tsp
3. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
4. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
5. Cumin powder ½ tsp
6. Chana Atta (besan ) 3 Tbsp
7. Salt to taste
8. Water
METHOD:
· In a bowl add sliced onion and salt mix well ,keep for 5 minutes
· After 5 minutes add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and garam masala and besan and add sufficient water almost 3 Tbsp ( can make 8 bhajiyas)
· Make small flat balls and fry it in oil till crisp and light brown
· And keep aside
INDREDIENTS: (FOR CURRY)
1. Yoghurt 1 cup
2. Water ½ cup
3. Salt to taste
4. Red chilli powder ½ tsp
5. Besan 1 tsp
TEMPERING:
1. Oil 2 tsp
2. Mustard seeds ½ tsp
3. Cumin seeds ½ tsp
4. Hing (Asafetida ) a pinch
5. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
6. Curry leaves few
7. Red chilli whole 2
METHOD: (FOR CURRY)
· In a bowl add yoghurt ,salt and water and beat well
· To that add red chilli powder and besan
· Keep this mixture in low heat when its starts bubbling add onion bhajiyas and cook in low heat for 2 minutes
· In a pan add all ingredients for the tempering one by one
· And pour this to the yoghurt curry and switch of the gas.onion bhajiya curry is ready to serve with rice or chapatti
