INGREDIENTS:
1. Paneer 100g (Indian cottage cheese)
2. Onion 1 (paste)
3. Tomato 1
4. Ginger and garlic paste 1Tbsp
5. Green chilli 1(slit)
6. Jeera (cumin) ½ tsp
7. Red hilli powder 1tsp
8. Turmeric powder 1tsp
9. Coriander powder 1tsp
10. Jeera powder ½ tsp
11. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
12. Kasoori methi 1tsp
13. Whole spices (cloves 2,cardamom stick small 1)
14. Cashew nut 8 (paste)
15. Cream 2 Tbsp or milk 3 Tbsp
16. Salt to taste
17. Oil 4 Tbsp
18. Water 3 to 4 Tsp
METHOD:
· In a non stick vessel add oil then Jeera then add onion paste fry till light brown then add ginger and garlic paste fry for few second
· Mean while in grinder add tomato, whole spices, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder,jeera powder ,kasoori methi and little water grind to smooth paste
· Mix this mixture to the onion stir it continuously for 3 minutes then add green chilli,salt, cashew nut paste mix well then add paneer again mix well
· Add 3 to 4 Tbsp water and milk or cream and cook the paneer in low heat for 5 minutes
· Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala
NOTE:
· I used Amul paneer frozen (cube).you can use fresh paneer
· If you want you can also fry the paneer on hot oil till light brown
