Mutton pulao is very easy and simple to make. The blend of the mutton and rice give the different taste to the dish. I know u will really like this dish.
INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE MASALA:
1. Mutton ½ kg
2. Onion 3 (sliced finely)
3. Ginger and garlic paste 1Tbsp
4. Greenchilli 6 (paste)
5. Red chilli powder 1Tbsp
6. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
7. Jeera powder 1tsp
8. Garam masala powder 1tsp
9. Potato 1 (cut into 4 pieces)
10. Coriander leaves 2 Tbsp
11. Oil 4 to 5 Tbsp
12. Salt to taste
METHOD:
· First marinate mutton- in a heavy bottom non stick vessel add mutton,onion,ginger ,garlic, green chilli paste,salt,turmeric powder,jeera powder and oil 4 to 5 Tbsp mix well add keep for marinate for 1 to 2 hours(so that the mutton become soft and will cook fast)
· Then keep vessel in medium low heat and cook the mutton (it should be cover with lid)
· Keep on stirring after 4 minutes
· After the mutton is half cooked add red chilli powder, garam masala add potato mix well .cover and cook for 15 minutes or till the mutton is done
· Last add coriander leaves
INDREDIENTS:
FOR THE RICE:
1. Basmati rice 2 cups (washed add drain)
2. Salt to taste
3. Lemon juice 1 tsp
4. Oil 2 Tbsp
5. Ghee 1 Tbsp
6. Water 4 cups
METHOD:
· In a non stick vessel add oil and ghee then add rice mix well then add lemon juice add salt again mix well for 3 minutes
· Then add water mix well
· Cover and cook till the rice is completely cooked
FOR THE ASSEMBLY:
· Slowly mix both mutton masala add rice
· Be careful the rice should not break
· Cover with foil or tight lid
· Keep in heat for at least 10 minutes in low heat
· Serve hot with yoghurt and onion salad
FOR THE ONION AND TOMATO SALAD:
1. Onion 1 (finely sliced)
2. Tomato 1 (finely sliced)
3. Cucumber 1 (finely sliced long)
4. Coriander leaves few (chopped)
5. Salt to taste
6. Vinegar 1tsp
METHOD:
· In a bowl mix all the above ingredients add serve
· And enjoy eating this mutton pulao
