Butter Cookies



INDREGIENTS:
1.     Butter (unsalted) 150 gm
2.     Sugar (powdered) ½ cup
3.     Plain flour (maida) 2 cup or 250 gm
4.     Egg (beaten) 4 Tbsp
5.     Vanilla essence ½ tsp
6.     Baking powder ½ tsp
METHOD:
·     In a bowl add butter and sugar and mix well with hand
·     To that add maida, baking powder, vanilla essence and last egg mix well altogether with your hand (don’t add water)and make a dough
·    Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes
·    After 30 minute take out the dough from fridge and divide the dough into 4 parts
·    Take one part of dough and roll into medium size thick circle not very thick and not very thin (you can use plain flour or maida to roll)  
·    Then cut into shape you like (shown in photo)
·    Place the cut cookies on the baking dish ( as shown in photo)
·    And bake the cookies in pre heat oven for 8 – 10 minutes in 150c (  keep an eye in the cookies so that the cookies doesn’t burn)
·    After 8 – 10 minutes take out from oven and let it rest for 4-5 minute then transfer cookies on the baking rack(as shown in photo)and bake rest of the cookies
·    After cookies are completly cooled store it in air tight container
NOTE:
·        You can make 65 – 67 cookies
·        After cutting each cookies re use the dough
