INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE GRAVY:
1. Prawns ½ kg
2. Onion 3 (chopped)
3. Tomato 1 (chopped)
4. Curry leaves few
5. Green chilli 2 (chopped)
6. Ginger 1tsp
7. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
8. Red chilli powder 1 ½ tsp
9. Coriander powder 1 tsp
10. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
11. Jeera powder (cumin powder)1/2 tsp
12. Coriander leaves
13. Tomato sauce 2Tbsp
14. Soya sauce 1tsp
15. Oil 4 Tsp
16. Salt to taste
INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE RICE:
1. Basmati rice 2 cup
2. Whole masala(bay leave, cloves 1,cinnamon stick 1)
3. Water 4 cup
4. Lemon juice 1 tsp
5. Salt to taste
6. Oil 1 Tbsp
7. Ghee 2 Tbsp
METHOD:
FOR THE GRAVY:
· In a non- stick vessel add oil then add onion and curry leaves fry till light brown then add green chillies, ginger and tomato fry till soft
· Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder mix well then add the prawns. Cook in medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes or till prawns is fully cooked
· Then add coriander leaves,jeera powder and garam masala mix well
· Then add tomato sauce and soya sauce mix well and cook for more 2 minutes
METHOD:
FOR THE RICE:
· In a non-stick vessel add oil and ghee then add the whole masala then add rice(washed and drain) mix well for 2 minutes
· Then add water, salt and lemon juice mix well
· Cover it and cook till rice is done
· First keep in medium heat then reduce it (low)
FOR ASSEMBLY
- Mix both rice and gravy to gather fully
- Then close the vessel with aluminum foil and put the lid and keep in heat in low flame for 10 minutes
- Sever with cucumber salads and yoghurt
