Kusturi Chicken Kadai

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serving for: 3 person
1.  Chicken ½ kg (clean and cut into small pieces)
2.   Dahi /yoghurt 1 cup
3.   Garlic paste 2 tsp
4.   Lemon juice 1 Tbsp
5.   Garam masala 2 tsp
6.   Salt to taste
7.   Onion 1 chopped
8.   Whole red chilli 2
9.   Tomato puree or tomato ketchup 1 Tbsp
10.  Red chilli powder 2 tsp
11.  Coriander powder 1 tsp
12.  Kusturi  methi powder (roasted and powdered) 3 tsp
13.  Water  ½ cup or depends upon how much gravy you want, can add more
14.  Coriander leaves for garnish
15.  Pepper powder a pinch for garnish
16.  Garam masala powder a pinch for garnish
17.  Oil 4 Tbsp
·    First marinate ,in a bowl add INGREDIENTS NO 1 TO 6 keep for 1 hour

·    In a non stick vessel add 1 Tbsp oil and fry 1 chopped onion till light brown and make a paste without adding water

·    In a same vessel add 2 Tbsp oil ,2 whole red chilli, then add marinated chicken and mix well, cook for 15 minutes don’t add water (while adding marinated chicken switch of the gas)

·    Then add tomato puree or tomato ketchup,chilli powder, coriander powder, Kusturi methi, brown onion paste and mix well

·    Then add water and cook for another 5 minutes in low heat

·    Last garnish with coriander leaves, pepper powder and garam masala
