Pepper Chicken Chettinad




Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Serving For : 3 persons
INGREDIENTS:
1.  Chicken ½ kg (cut into small pieces)
2.  Mustard seeds ½ tsp (optional)
3.  Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
4.  Whole garam masala (cinnamon ,cardamom stick small ,star 1)
5.  Onion chopped 1
6.  Turmeric powder ½ tsp
7.  Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
8.  Green chilli 1 slit
9.  Curry leaves few
10. Tomato chopped 1
11. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
12. Coriander powder 2 tsp
13. Cumin powder ½ tsp
14.  Pepper corns 4 and garlic 1 crushed together
15.  Warm water ½ cup
16.  Oil 2 Tbsp
17.  Salt to taste
METHOD:
·   In a vessel add oil ,then add mustard seeds when it starts crackle add cumin seeds and whole garam masala

·   Then add chopped onion fry till light brown then add turmeric powder and ginger ,garlic paste mix well

·   Then add green chilli,curry leaves and chopped tomatoes cook till soft

·   Then add red chilli powder , coriander powder and cumin powder stir well till its raw smell go away

·   Then add the chicken cover and cook for 10 minutes in medium low heat

·   Then add ½ cup warm water and cook till chicken is completely done

·   Last add crushed peppercorn and garlic and cover and cook for another 3 minutes

·   Serve hot
