Tikka Puffs

Tikka puffs are very good starter or snack which is rolled with puff pastry. In UAE puff pastry is available in supermarket in frozen section.I don’t know whether it is available in India. You can enjoy the tikka also…!!!!:)

1.     Chicken breast (cut into long strips) 10 long strips
2.     Red chilli powder 1tsp
3.     Pepper powder ½ tsp
4.     Plain flour(maida)4Tbsp
5.     Corn flour 2Tbsp
6.     Salt to taste
7.     Garlic and ginger 1tsp(finely chopped)
8.     Curry leaves (finely chopped)
9.     Soya sauce ½ tsp
10.   White vinegar ½ tsp
11.   Coriander leaves 1Tbsp (finely chopped)
12.   Water (2 to 3 Tbsp)
13.   Red food colour a pinch

1.     Puff pastry square 2 or 3 square
2.     Egg beaten
·    Cut the chicken breast into long strips(washed and drain)

·    In a bowl add all the ingredients accept oil and add water to form thick  batter mix well and keep aside for 5 -10 minutes

·     The mixture should be such that it coat the chicken.dont add too much of water

·    One by one pour the chicken to the oil. Fry till chicken is done. It should take 5 minutes

·    Then cut the puff pastry square into 10 strips just pinch all the strips with a knife

·    Then wrap the chicken tikka with the puff pastry. Spread little egg mixture at the both end of strips and lock it properly. Brush the top with beaten egg

·    Then bake in pre heated oven for 15 minutes at 150 c
