Pistachio Garvy Curry

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serving For: 3 persons
1.   Chicken ½ kg (cut and clean)
2.   Pista (skinless) ½  cup (soak in water for 1 hour)
3.   Onion 2 (1 for grinding and 1 for curry)
4.   Green chilli 3
5.   Garam masala ½ tsp
6.   Tomato 1 big or 2 small chopped
7.   Ginger and garlic paste 1 Tbsp
8.   Yoghurt 2 Tbsp
9.   Fresh coconut grated 1 Tbsp
10. Coriander leaves 4 Tbsp
11. Salt to taste
12. Oil 4 Tbsp
13. Water ½ cup
·   First marinate the chicken with salt, garam masala,yoghurt,ginger and garlic paste for 1 hour

·   Grind to paste pista,green chilli,coconut,1 onion chopped and coriander leaves with little water to smooth paste

·    In a non stick vessel add oil then fry 1 chopped onion till light brown

·    Then add the marinated chicken and fry for few minutes

·   Then add salt, grind masala and roast well for 3 minutes

·   Then add ½ cup water and chopped  tomato

·   Cover and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat

·   Then reduce the heat and cook till chicken is done, sprinkle some garam masala

·   Serve hot with chapatti
·   Add water according to the thickness of the gravy
