Nanaimo Square Bar



INGREDIENTS: (FOR BOTTOM LAYER)
1.   Butter 100 gm (soften)
2.   Sugar ¼ cup
3.   Cocoa powder ¼ cup
4.   Egg 1 (beaten)
5.   Vanilla essence 1 tsp
6.   Biscuits 2 cups (powdered or crushed with your hand)
7.   Desicated coconut 1 cup (can use fresh coconut)
8.   Mixed Nuts roughly  chopped ½ cup (cashew or pista or walnuts or badam)
METHOD:
·     In a pan add butter and melt in low heat

·     Then remove from heat and add cocoa powder, vanilla essence and beaten egg (mix egg little at the time)

·     Then again bring back to the heat and keep on stirring for about 1 to 2 minutes .keep aside

·     Then in bowl add crushed or powdered biscuits,coconut,nuts and above mixture and mix well

·     Mean while grease the square dish and pour the mixture and press it to form a square

·     And refrigerate for 1 hour


INDREDIENTS :( MIDDLE LAYER)
1.   Butter  2 Tbsp
2.   Powdered sugar or icing sugar 1 and ½ cup
3.   Custard powder 1 Tbsp
4.   Vanilla essence 1 tsp
5.   Milk 3 Tbsp
METHOD:
·     In a bowl add butter and beat for few seconds with electric beater

·     To that add powdered sugar or icing sugar ,custard powder and vanilla essence and beat well

·     Then add milk and beat well

·     Spread this mixture on top of the biscuit layer

·     And refrigerate for ½ and hour
INGREDIENTS :( FOR TOP LAYER)
1.  Chopped chocolate ½
2.  Butter or oil 1 Tbsp
METHOD:
·    In  a pan add chocolate and butter and melt the chocolate in low heat

·    Pour the melted chocolate on the top

·    And refrigerate for ½ and hour

·    Cut into square and serve
NOTE:
·        Can use any biscuit I used krack jack biscuits 2 pack
