Pin Wheel Cookies





INGREDIENTS:
1.     Flour (maida) 2 and ½ cup
2.     Baking powder ½ tsp
3.     Salt ¼ tsp
4.     Sugar ½ cup (powdered)
5.     Butter 200g (soften)
6.     Egg 1
7.     Vanilla essence 1 tsp
8.     Pink food colour as required
9.     Green food colour as required
METHOD:
·      In a bowl beat butter and sugar well for 3-4 minutes

·     Then add egg beat well for 1 minutes

·     Then add vanilla essence mix for few seconds

·     Then add all the dry ingredients flour, baking powder and salt

·     Mix well with your hand and make a dough

·     Then divide the dough into 4 equal parts

·     In part 1 add  few drops of pink mix well and cover with plastic wrap

·     Second one add few drops of green mix well and cover with plastic wrap

·     Other 2 dough cover with plastic wrap

·     Cover all 4 dough in separate plastic wrap (as shown in photo)





·     and keep in fridge for 2 hours

·     Then roll all 4 dough almost like square (as shown in photo),keep the plastic wrap both the side (so that it doesn’t stick)





·         on the top of plain rolled dough slowly place the green rolled dough and roll it ,again cover with plastic wrap ,keep in fridge for 1 hour (as shown in photo)



·         Same way on the top of plain rolled dough slowly place the pink rolled dough and roll it and again cover it and keep in fridge for 1 hour



·    After 1 hour cut the roll into ½ inch thick size and bake in pre heated oven for 8-10 minutes  in 170 c





·    Let the cookies cool then store it in air tight container
